mwana pwo, “girl”, the ideal of female perfectionism . The regular face, the big nearly shut eyes in the round eyeholes, the plain nose with the delicate curved sides of the nose – all these attributes should refer not only to the bodily, but also to a social and morally perfection.
All this has worked exceedingly well with this object. The overall impression or detail – everything is perfect.
