Thieba in the region
Korogho in the 1960s by Mr. Kegel-Konietzko. It was created many years before complete with all its details from one piece for the village’s spiritual leader.
It shows the highest-ranking woman of the village, the tribal mother. She also wears the obligatory grave stick that is used by all women for all intents and purposes. But moreover she is equipped with numerous honourable and glorious attributes:
On the head is a stylized holy horn-raven in a sacrificial bowl, as well as ornamental scars on cheeks and belly. In addition a lot of loose adornment, like little bells – trading goods from the neighbouring Dan region – a foot rim and a beautiful wooden necklace around the upright neck. Also seeds from plants and pendants made out of horn from Dig-Dig, filled with magical substances.
On the back she is carrying a peacefully resting child that could not imagine a better place on earth.
